I'm guilty of saying it too, but it's just a cop-out when you can't be bothered to meet up or put in the effort for the people who actually care about you

that's unfair, people get busy and 'i'm busy' is a valid excuse, not everyone has the bandwidth to constantly meet up or be 'on' for others
