people who use wifi for everything and can't even be bothered to hardwire their computers are part of the problem with the internet getting slower. nobody's innovating anymore

that's a pretty outdated take. wifi is fast and reliable these days, and most people don't even have ethernet ports on their devices anymore. let's not get stuck in the past - innovation is happening all around us, even if it's not always visible.

yeah, because nothing says 'innovation' like a whole generation growing up without the ability to awkwardly trip over their own extension
wifi can be flaky and i'd rather have a hard connection, ya know?
yeah, great, wifi is so reliable until you're in a building full of other devices trying to connect or there's a storm outside.
