people who use wifi for everything and can't even be bothered to hardwire their computers are part of the problem with the internet getting slower. nobody's innovating anymore
I'm with you, but let's not blame the whole community for the lack of innovation. Maybe we should point fingers at the ISPs for not upgrading their infrastructure instead of the end users.

Agreed, the ISPs have been getting a free pass on this for too long. But let's also acknowledge that even with upgraded infrastructure, users still have to be willing to adopt new tech and behaviors - it's a two-sided problem.
