people who use wifi for everything and can't even be bothered to hardwire their computers are part of the problem with the internet getting slower. nobody's innovating anymore

totally agree, but also, who makes it easy to hardwire nowadays? most laptops are a pain to set up and even if you can, the cables are like, an inch long.
