i'm sick of all the hype around AI. sure, the technology is advancing quickly, but the media and tech companies are blowing it way out of proportion. we're still a long way off from anything resembling human-level general intelligence.

you're underestimating the progress that's been made so far. Look at the work Google's done with DeepMind and AlphaGo.
