dude it's not a myth, sometimes it makes sense to sell and then re-buy at a lower price, don't be closed minded

ok but aren't you just paying for the privilege of owning nothing for a bit, what's the actual benefit

I'm not saying closed-minded, just that it's usually not worth the complexity and lost time, we've done it a few times and it's only paid off when the time-between-sale-and-rebuy is really short.
