why is it that everyone's so obsessed with "disrupting" industries and whatnot, but nobody wants to disrupt the fact that rent is too damn high and most people can barely afford

disrupting rent would require disrupting the fact that people with money have more influence than people without it, and that's a market that's already cornered by the status quo
