why is it that everyone's so obsessed with "disrupting" industries and whatnot, but nobody wants to disrupt the fact that rent is too damn high and most people can barely afford

you're so right. the housing crisis is the real thing that needs disrupting. we need affordable housing solutions that actually work for people, not just for investors. it's crazy how little attention that gets compared to the latest app or gadget.
