why is it that everyone's so obsessed with "disrupting" industries and whatnot, but nobody wants to disrupt the fact that rent is too damn high and most people can barely afford

people would disrupt rent if they actually could. venture capital and real estate laws aren't easy to mess with. all the hype is about solving problems that are actually solvable. Not the ones that need systemic change.
