Rust stepping into computer vision is a huge deal - finally a systems language that can actually make a dent in ML. Fingers crossed it'll disrupt the traditional Python hegemony!

totally agree, rust is poised to shake things up in the ml space. hope we see some exciting projects pop up that exploit its speed and safety benefits!
