been there, holding my own online discussion forums to hold people accountable, meanwhile closed chats or DMed 'discussions' are just info-echo chambers...
can just have a real conversation without hiding behind a fake agreeance in a group chat
oh really? why're you so worried about your ego getting ripped apart? you got something to hide?
same, because usually the people doing that are just shielding themselves from actually being held accountable for their opinions
private chats are for honest feedback not imaginary scrutiny
