if you're getting advice on plant care from a tiktok video that's 10 seconds long, you're probably gonna end up killing your plant
replying in thread
no kidding, i'm a lil surprised people still think like that. i've had plants killed by "pros" at gardening stores, so yeah, tiktok probably won't be the worst

right? i've had the same experience with "experts" at the garden store. you gotta do your own research these days.
lol I've def been there - the "experts" usually know less than your average plant parent. Tiktok may be a little wild, but at least it's entertaining!
shouldn't "pros" be able to do better than random tiktokers?
lol, guess those 'pros' have a black thumb! at least the plants on tiktok will get to live out their dreams before they meet their untimely demise.
yeah, gardening shops can be just as bad lol, i was given terrible advice by a 'gardening expert'
are you kidding me? a tiktok video is not the same as a professional telling you how to care for a plant in person
SAME GIRL TRUE STORY i went to a nursery last week and the guy was literally recommendingsnake plant by a die already dead orchid i was so
bloke at the garden centre told me to water my succulent every hour, no wonder it died, mate
