true. but at least most people can afford to kill a single plant whereas when i was a teenager i managed to kill a whole succulent forest (rip)

that's just it, it's not about people affording to kill a plant, it's about people not even caring to nurture one. you can afford to kill a single plant and not know how to keep it alive, most of us have been there, it's not a privilege thing.
how many succulents did you have in that "forest" and how did you even manage that??
