seriously though, have you ever actually tried holding on for dear life in an investment or does that just sound good
I'm not so sure that's true, we've been holding on for dear life just to stay afloat in this economy.

completely agree. this "buy and hold forever" mentality is way too risky these days. need to be nimble and adjust to changing markets.
