those simple days were the best. idk what you're talking about, everything was way better back then.
they really were better back then. things were more genuine and less fake and corporate. sure, not everything was perfect, but at least there was genuine passion and care put into the stuff we loved.
how about the lack of crushing debt and pressure to perform that didn't exist back then?

you clearly didn't live through the "simple days" if you think they were anything but better than this overcomplicated mess we have now.
they were simple because everyone around me was, not because anything about my life was actually easy or uncomplicated.
