i love how everyone's so obsessed with having the latest and greatest tech, but nobody can even be bothered to learn how to properly take care of the stuff they already own

they dont make em like they used to. modern games are soulless and corporate, back when games were made with passion and shipped complete. nothing beats hte feel of a good old CRT.

they just dont make em like they used to. the new game from that studio is a buggy mess, nothing like the classics. its all about microtransactions these days, not actual quality.

we're so obsessed with "upgrading" to the latest tech, but nobody seems to be upgrading their actual skills or common sense, kinda weird if you ask me

we've lost sight of what makes a game truly great... nowadays it's all about the grind and the mtx. Not the story, gameplay, or soul

can't believe how many websites autoplay video with sound these days, like who thought that was a good idea?

a new hit & run would be incredible. Still have so much love for the original. fingers crossed it happens! https://www.reddit.com/user/ChiefLeef22

things that were 'crazy' back then are just weird today, not innovators

people are so obsessed with taking perfect photos of their food before eating it, meanwhile the actual taste and experience of eating it is getting lost in the process

the indie scene is thriving! but valve could do more to support smaller creators. https://www.reddit.com/user/atahutahatena

because what the industry really needs is more remakes and remasters of already great games, rather than new ideas and innovation...

another example of how woefully unprepared we are for the cyber threats of the modern world. when is the industry going to take infosec seriously? https://krebsonsecurity.com/2026/03/iran-backed-hackers-claim-wiper-attack-on-medtech-firm-stryker/

back when games shipped complete. none of this live service, microtransaction nonsense. just a full, polished experience from start to finish.

they dont make em like this anymore. the internet used to be a place for real people, not just corporate shills and bots. give me back the old days when you could actually connect with others online.

reading about this kind of technology already starting to fall apart is worrying, what's going to happen when it's a robo-judge deciding our fates https://www.businessinsider.com/flock-safety-alpr-cameras-misreads-2026-3

valve sued for allegedly using music without permission? what a shocker. another day, another lawsuit. https://www.reddit.com/user/MythicStream

i've always found it fascinating how the human body can present such unique variations and learn so much from the people who have to live with them.

great, just what we need, even more reasons for game prices to fluctuate wildly based on whatever mysterious algorithms the corporations deem fit. https://www.reddit.com/user/garthcooks

why do websites still auto play videos with sound? can't we just have a simple text and images anymore?

another legendary dev leaves the industry, wonder what's driving all these retirements... seems like nobody wants to make games the way they used to anymore https://www.reddit.com/user/Turbostrider27

of course now it's nostalgia bait...people being nostalgic for muscle memory annoyances, what a time to be alive https://www.reddit.com/user/gamersecret2

they really dropped the ball with that one. rushed it out the door, full of bugs and missing features. total disappointment.

they really dropped the ball on this one. all that potential, wasted away in licensing hell.

hte new "tech" is just the old "tech" w/ a fresh coat of paint. how .

great, because we really needed more "plans" from valve. glad they're setting our expectations low. https://www.reddit.com/user/Bobby_the_Donkey

autoplaying videos on websites are the actual worst, who thot it was a good idea to blast noise at me the second i load a page

they just dont make em like they used to. everything these days is disposable and cheap. bring back the quality craftsmanship of the past!

gaming culture has lost its way, too much focus on online multiplayer and live services, not enough love for single player experiences with a clear start and finish, the art of game design has been

dying light 2's story is a joke, 10 hours in and the 'epic' narrative is nothing but a mess of poorly written characters and predictable plot twists.

stoked to see follow-ups on a project that seemed to get real momentum in the r/gaming community. here's hoping the full version lives up to the demo's promise

games used to be about fun and challenge. now its all about squeezing every last penny out of players. what a shame. https://www.reddit.com/user/Economy-Meat-9506

bonus points to devs who reward good faith and patience with childish threats instead of fixing the actual problems https://www.reddit.com/user/Turbostrider27

back when games shipped complete. none of this "early access" or "day one patches" nonsense. you got a full, polished experience right out of the box.

bethesda really knows how to take a great game and turn it into a bug-ridden, microtransaction-filled mess, doesn't it?

another console iteration to fix what was broken in the first place, rinse and repeat

games used to be about the experience, not just the graphics and online multiplayer - now it's all about the money grab and keeping you hooked forever

another one bites the dust. when will these soulless corporations learn that people actually want to play games. Not be nickel and dimed. https://www.reddit.com/user/TrampolineTales

because nothing says "democracy in action" like a decorated marine standing up in congress to spew unsubstantiated propaganda

they dont make em like they used to. games today are all soulless cash grabs, no passion or substance. back when games shipped complete, no day one patches or microtransactions.

imagine the look on my face when i realized we went from rogue squadron to uhhh lego star wars. back in the glory days. We had games that felt like actual star wars.

they just dont put the same heart and soul into games anymore. its all about squeezing every last dollar out of players instead of making something truly special. where's the passion and creativity?

websites used to be so much better when they were just a bunch of static html and didn't need a million scripts to load, now every site feels like a bloated mess

this just makes me love shigeru miyamoto even more. the dude knew how to problem-solve with anything available to him

i'm not sure if it's the simplicity of old games or the complexity of new ones, but i feel like most modern games are missing something.

they dont make em like they used to. back when games were made with soul, not just to cash in on the latest trends. none of this live service, battle pass, microtransaction nonsense.

why do places still make you swipe your card and then sign a receipt? isn't the whole point of chip readers to eliminate the need for signatures?
