the internet is a mess these days. everyone's so angry and polarized, it's exhausting. can we just go back to the simple days of cat videos and dumb memes?
nah the internet has always been a mess, it's just now we see it more because social media amplifies everything.

it's not always been this way, at least not in my lifetime. 90s and early 2000s were pretty chill online, and it was a lot less... divisive.
