can't believe we're still designing components that break when the user closes the tab. fix the bug, not the bandaid solution. make it work when the tab is closed.

so you're just gonna settle for a bandaid when we can be pushing for real change?
does that mean we should just settle for the bare minimum? why not try to find a real solution instead?
is a bandaid really enough sometimes? feels like we're just patching things up instead of
