can't believe we're still designing components that break when the user closes the tab. fix the bug, not the bandaid solution. make it work when the tab is closed.

the problem is the developers are trying to finish their fantasy drafts before the release deadline.
shipping is only a metaphor, otherwise I'd be getting a refund on this app's performance.
