can we please make it a standard practice to include ingredients in food pics on social media? i'm so over seeing some beautiful dish and having to scroll through 20 comments to find out if it's gluten free

I'm starting to think the people who say "just delete social media" are the same ones who've never had to build a career or community online - for the rest of us, it's a necessary evil that requires constant boundary-setting and self-regulation.
that new policy is such a headache. what were they thinking? it's just going to make our lives harder. can't they see how inconvenient this is for everyone? ugh, time to start a petition.
if you're not pissing off at least a few people, you're not saying anything worth saying. some people just can't handle the truth. step up and speak your mind, even if it's not popular. just don't be a jerk about it.
i'm so sick of people who think it's okay to play their music out loud in public. like, we get it, you have terrible taste in music. keep that nonsense to yourself and use some headphones for once.
people get so worked up about online drama, but in reality, most of it would never even make it to the dinner table in real life
We spend way too much time arguing with strangers online and not enough time having real conversations with the people right next to us.
I've noticed that people are more willing to offer unsolicited advice on how to live your life, but ask for directions and they'll be lucky to get a nod in the right direction.
I have no words for the utter lack of judgment displayed by some folks when it comes to public funds. Who knew lobsters were a priority for national defense?
can we please all just agree to use our turn signals when driving? it's not that hard and it's incredibly rude to ignore it and leave other people guessing whether you're going to cut them off or not
i can't stand when people walk super slow in the middle of the sidewalk and don't move over to let others pass. this happens to me all the time and it's so frustrating. get out of the way, people! some of us have places to be.
it's wild how we spend the first year of a child's life teaching them to walk and talk, and the rest of their life telling them to shut up and sit down.
Can't wait to see how this gets spun into a win for the status quo. Just another example of how "holds power accountable" is just code for "stays in power".
people who don't recycle their plastic water bottles and then leave them on the ground for someone else to pick up are literally the worst
we're all just pretending to be experts online to get validation and likes, but in reality, most people have no clue what they're talking about and are just regurgitating someone else's opinion.
this traffic is the worst. i've been sitting in the same spot for over an hour. why do people insist on driving like complete idiots during rush hour? everyone just needs to calm down and let others merge for once. it's not that hard to be a little courteous on the roads.
the little things in life make all the difference. i noticed the barista at my local coffee shop always greets me with a smile - it really brightens my day. it's the small acts of kindness that truly matter.
can we please make it a standard practice to label cords and chargers in shared workspaces? i'm so over digging through a tangled mess of identical black cables to find the one that actually belongs to me
It's breathtakingly reckless to downplay the possibility of retaliatory attacks on American soil. Especially from a president who swore to protect us. How many lives are worth the cost of a tweet?
i'm starting to think the people who yell the loudest about "influencers being fake" are just mad they can't sell their own authenticity to a audience of thousands.
the traffic on my commute this morning was outrageous. it's like everyone forgot how to drive! i swear, the world would be a better place if people just paid attention and used their turn signals.
We spend the first year of a child's life teaching them to walk and talk, and the rest of their lives telling them to shut up and sit down.
the internet is a cesspool these days. everyone's got an opinion and they're all shouting at each other. can we please just take a step back and have some actual conversations for a change? there's more to life than dunking on each other online.
people say social media is about connecting with others, but it's more about validation - we're all competing for likes and comments, not really forming meaningful relationships
we spend so much time trying to perfect our work and our relationships, but we often forget to perfect ourselves, in the moment, just as we are.
i hate when people don't clean up after themselves in the office kitchen. it's so inconsiderate to leave your dirty dishes in the sink for someone else to deal with. how hard is it to just load the dishwasher or wash your own cup? some people really need to get it together.
these constant power outages are really starting to get on my nerves. how hard is it to keep the lights on around here? i pay my bills on time. The least they could do is provide reliable service. this is so frustrating.
the most toxic part of online discourse isn't the outrage or the hate, it's the willingness to talk at people rather than talk with them.
can't believe some restaurants still don't know how to properly prepare a simple salad, like they can't even manage to chop the veggies without bruising them, and then they wonder why nobody orders the salad anymore.
Just started reading about the argument for impeaching the DHS Sec and I'm eager to dive in and see where this goes
can't believe some people think it's okay to take 5+ minutes to order coffee just to tell the barista about their personal life while I'm trying to get to work
I'm so tired of people online saying "no one's perfect" when someone points out their mistake. just because we're all imperfect doesn't mean we shouldn't strive for accuracy and honesty in our words and actions.
it's wild how we'll spend hours researching and planning the perfect vacation, but struggle to prioritize planning for our own mental and physical well-being on a regular basis
if you're constantly outraged online, you're probably not actually helping anything. take a step back, go outside, and get some perspective. social media is not real life.
another day, another dollar. life is a wild ride, isn't it? just when you think you've got it all figured out, the universe throws you a curveball. but that's what makes it interesting, right? embrace the chaos, my friends. just go with the flow and see where the takes you.
the internet is a wild place. so much info, so much drama. we could all use a little more kindness and a little less hate. Ya know? let's try to focus on the good stuff - connecting with friends, learning new things, and maybe even making the world a bit brighter.
the internet has become a cesspool of outrage and misinformation. instead of bringing us together, it's driving us apart. we need to log off and have real conversations with people, not just fight with strangers online.
I've noticed that people who are always talking about how busy they are, often aren't as busy as they think they are, they're just avoiding focus.
sometimes i look around and wonder how we all ended up here. like, what are the odds that we'd all be in this exact place at this exact moment? it's wild to think about. makes me appreciate the little things a bit more. You know?
We spend the first year of a child's life teaching them to walk and talk, and the rest of their life telling them to shut up and sit down.
can't believe people still don't know how to properly use a public trash can, day in and day out it's overflowing because someone thinks it's okay to just throw their trash on the ground and hope it gets picked up. come on, people, it's not that hard.
can we please make it a standard thing to have outlets near every table in coffee shops? it's 2023 and i'm still stuck with a dead phone and no where to charge it.
it's wild how often we prioritize being right over being kind, like winning an argument is more important than the relationship itself
i can't stand it when people block the aisle at the grocery store. like, can you move your cart over a bit so others can get by? it's not that hard to be considerate. seriously, have some basic spatial awareness people!
i'm starting to think that the people who are the most vocal about needing to "disrupt the status quo" are often the ones who are actually just trying to maintain their own relevance in a rapidly changing world.
people are more upset about losing their online echo chambers than they are about the fact that their worldview is being challenged by people with differing opinions
ugh, i can't stand when people take up the entire sidewalk and don't move over to let others pass. it's like they think they own the place! have some common courtesy and be aware of your surroundings. People.
the reason we're all so exhausted online is because we're trying to curate a highlight reel of our lives for an audience of people who are also trying to curate highlight reels - can we all just agree to post our messiest, most mundane moments instead?
we put way too much emphasis on being "productive" and "efficient" in our daily routines, but sometimes the most important things we do are the ones that have no end result or outcome, like simply being present in a moment with someone we love or taking a long, slow walk outside.
We spend so much time planning for our future and remembering our past, but rarely take a moment to be present in the now, to appreciate the small beauty in the everyday moments that make life worth living.
