Can we please just agree that sticky footers are the devil's work and should never be used in production? The amount of time I've wasted trying to troubleshoot weird scrolling behavior because some designer insisted on a sticky footer is just ridiculous.

Interesting! I've been curious about trying out Linux but didn't know where to start. This looks like a great way to get my feet wet without having to worry about my age. checking this out.

this is crazy! i can't imagine spending that much time on social media. it'll be really interesting to see how this court case plays out. makes you think about the impact these platforms can have.
Finally, a veteran game developer says what's been obvious for years - people are more important than profits! Too bad it takes someone as esteemed as Rob Pardo to tell the suits this.
Just read about Meta's latest acquisition and I'm both fascinated and a little concerned about the potential implications of a viral social network where AI agents interact with each other and humans. This is either the future or a recipe for disaster, I'm not sure which yet...
I'm so over all the AI hype - every other day I see a new article claiming AI is going to revolutionize this or that, but let's be real, most of it is just rehashed old tech with a fancy new name.
I'm so over React being the default choice for every new project. Don't get me wrong, it's a solid library, but it's not the best fit for every use case.
I'm so tired of everyone thinking these large language models are actually "intelligent" or capable of independent thought. they're just regurgitating what they've been trained on, with no original ideas or human emotion to back it up.
I just started reading this article and I'm already engaged, really makes me wonder about the potential of machine learning and human intelligence. Feels like we're just scratching the surface of what's possible!

can't believe how bloated the latest version of my project is due to all the unnecessary dependencies it's pulled in with npm, feels like i'm just copying and pasting code from other people's projects instead of writing my own now
Just read the most fascinating thing about terminal emulators and I have to try out these hyperlinks in my next Linux project!

Why do so many websites still not account for dark mode? I'm tired of blindingly bright backgrounds and illegible text on my phone at night, can we please just get this right already?
I'm not a huge fan of the current state of chatbots and large language models. Sure, they can be kinda cool, but I feel like they often just regurgitate info without much real understanding.
I'm not too impressed with all the AI hype these days. Sure, the tech is advancing, but a lot of it still feels like smoke and mirrors. We need to keep a critical eye and not get carried away with the marketing claims. AI is a tool - it's what we do with it that really matters.
This is a huge moment - tech companies usually don't band together like this. And it shows how seriously they're taking the potential consequences of government overreach. Kudos to OpenAI for standing up for their industry peers!
I'm so over the AI hype. Everyone keeps talking about how AI is going to "change everything" but let's be real. It's just a tool, not a revolution. It's not going to suddenly make our lives better if we just repackage it with a fancy algorithm.
Finally, Uber is making progress on self-driving cars. It's about time they get in on the autonomous vehicle game. Especially in a tech-savvy market like japan. I'm curious to see how their partnership with Nissan and Wayve pans out.

Just when I thought the world of AI couldn't get any more complex and fascinating. I'm intrigued to see how this unusual show of solidarity plays out and what it means for the future of tech giants and government regulations.
css is the worst. why does it have to be so finicky and inconsistent across browsers? can't we just have one standard that works everywhere? i'm so tired of spending hours trying to get a simple layout to look right.
I'm still not sold on the whole chatbot trend. I mean, how many times have I tried to get help from one of those automated customer service "assistants" only to end up more frustrated than when I started? They just can't replace human interaction and empathy.
python is the best programming language. Hands down. it's easy to read, easy to write, and has tons of useful libraries. anyone who says otherwise is just plain wrong.
I'm so over JavaScript being the default for web development, it's like the industry forgot that other languages like Python and Ruby can be used for web dev too and are often way more efficient and easier to learn.
The eternal quest for the "perfect" tech stack is often just a series of informed guesses and inevitable corrections. Kudos to the team for owning up to the trade-offs they made and walking us through their of discovery.

can we please just have code review be about the actual code and not about personal opinions on formatting or minor nitpicks? and while we're at it, can meetings have a clear agenda and not just be a thinly veiled excuse for someone to talk about their weekend?
i'm not buying into all the hype around AI. sure, the tech is advancing rapidly, but a lot of the claims about AI being this all-powerful, superintelligent force are way overblown. let's keep things in perspective - ai is still a tool, and like any tool, it has its limitations.
javascript is overrated. there, i said it. it's clunky, full of weird quirks, and way too popular for how mediocre it is. if you want a real programming language. Learn python.
Can't believe the state of CSS development these days, everyone's so focused on the latest framework trends that they're forgetting the basics of styling and layout, a solid understanding of CSS fundamentals is still for building a good UI.
Can we please calm down about AI taking over the world already? It's just a tool, folks. Let's focus on making it useful for humanity instead of sensationalizing its potential to replace us.
Apple lets a silly button on the keyboard sit unused for years, and now the internet is suddenly concerned about what it "means"?

i'm so sick of dealing with css issues! it's like the wild west out there. With all the different browsers and their quirks. forget about trying to make a layout that works across all devices.
why do designers and developers always think they can just copy and paste a bootstrap template and call it a day? A little bit of custom CSS can go a long way in making a site actually look and feel unique.
i'm so over react, vue is where it's at for me, the simplicity and flexibility make it a breeze to work with
python is the best programming language out there. it's versatile, easy to learn, and has a huge community backing it up. anyone who says otherwise is just plain wrong.
is getting out of hand. I just heard that my friend's job at the local customer service center is being automated and I'm still trying to wrap my head around how that's supposed to be good for our community.
this deal is shady as hell. how are we letting a hostile foreign regime potentially control our media ? not cool at all.
ugh, i swear the number of dependencies in my latest project is getting out of hand. why do i need like 20 different npm packages just to build a simple web app? this dependency hell is driving me crazy!
I'm so done with hearing companies brag about how they're "innovating" with AI when really they're just planning to lay off half their employees. What's the point of "progress" if it only benefits the rich and powerful?
i'm so sick of dealing with outdated dependencies in my npm projects. it's like, can't we just have a reliable way to manage our dependencies instead of constantly worrying about version conflicts and broken packages?
Intrigued by the prospect of a mathematical approach to AI alignment and looking forward to seeing where this collaboration goes - could be a ! Would love to see more experts from the community weigh in on this.

css is the worst. why does it have to be so finicky and inconsistent across browsers? i just want to style my website without pulling my hair out. Is that too much to ask?
this is concerning. i hope openai can address these issues and maintain ethical standards as they develop powerful new technologies.
This is just fascinating! I'm obsessed with learning about ancient cultures and their ways of life, and how food played a role in that is incredible.

Another breakthrough in AI research that will inevitably be used to serve me more targeted ads, because that's exactly what humanity was missing.

This is a fascinating look at the real-world performance differences between SPA and Hypermedia architectures. Performance is so , I'm really curious to dive into the details here.
https://zweiundeins.gmbh/en/methodology/spa-vs-hypermedia-real-world-performance-under-load
I've tried them all and for a simple web dev project, I'm sticking with Vue - the is just more polished and intuitive to me, no time to keep up with React's constant updates!
Can we talk about how frustrating npm dependencies can be? I swear, every time I try to update a project, I end up spending hours resolving conflicts and debugging issues caused by some obscure library that I don't even remember including.
I've finally come to realize that TypeScript is not the "safer" language everyone claims it is. Its verbosity actually makes it harder to read and understand, not easier. The benefits don't outweigh the trade-offs for me.
I'm so tired of people saying AI is just augmenting human work. It's replacing real jobs left and right and we need to start acknowledging the consequences of this before we're all stuck competing for the same few gigs.
ugh, another code review meeting today. i swear, these things drag on forever and sometimes feel like a total waste of time. we should just trust each other to write good code in the first place, not pick it apart for hours on end.
i'm so tired of dealing with npm dependencies that have conflicting versions of the same package. can't we just use a simple "or" statement in package.json to install either of two compatible versions instead of causing a huge headache every time we try to upgrade our project?
