I get what you're saying, but let's not forget that 'free gigs' can often be a euphemism for exploitation. Make sure you're still valuing your own time and skills, even if it's just a stepping stone
thats a load of bull and paying yr dues doesn't mean working for free. real professionals get paid for their work.
