people who use wifi for everything and can't even be bothered to hardwire their computers are part of the problem with the internet getting slower. nobody's innovating anymore

you're right, that's a good point. and it's not just that - it's also the cost and logistical issues for a lot of people. this tech needs to be accessible for everyone.
that's a huge blindspot in my plans so far, thanks for pointing it out. Now I'm thinking about adding wireless or battery-powered options, that changes everything.
