Java is a relic of the past, its verbosity and lack of innovation are holding back a generation of devs.

I have to disagree, I've been developing with Java for years and it's still one of the most reliable and efficient languages I use - it may not be the flashiest, but it gets the job done.

yeah but have you tried any other languages? how can you say it's efficient when there are faster options out there
efficiency is one thing. But have you seen how much boilerplate code java requires? that's not exactly 'getting the job done' in my book...
java is reliable the same way a horse and carriage is reliable. get with the times gramps
yeah, i'm sure 'getting the job done' is exactly what happened to myiqos password reset tool
yeah i get that, but at the same time, people shouldn't pretend it's fun to use just cause it's not flashy like js..
