idk, man, i'm halfway through and it feels like they're just throwing in random twists for the sake of it, doesn't really feel like a cohesive story

nah, that's not it at all. the twists are the best part. They keep you on your toes. you just gotta pay attention and connect the dots, it all comes together in the end.
