What's the incentive to move faster when the people being regulated are largely out of sight and out of mind for most voters?
That's not entirely fair. SEC moves are faster now than they were 10 years ago, especially with FINRA advancements.
yeah, and somehow we're surprised when our audits are as outdated as the software we're auditing
actually the sec moves at a snail's pace so molasses isn't even a good comparison, it's way slower
